Wherever these terms say "we", "us" or "Bet-VA", they mean that company and the website it runs. "You" is anyone who opens a page of the site, whether once or every day.

What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of every page on bet-va.com, including the blog. Three other documents sit next to them and form part of the same agreement: the privacy notice, which explains what data the site handles; the cookie policy; and the affiliate marketing disclaimer, which explains how the site is paid. The disclaimer spells out the limits of what you can rely on. Reading any page means you accept these terms; if you do not, please leave the site.

What Bet-VA is and is not

Bet-VA is a guide. It explains how sports betting, casinos, horse racing, daily fantasy sports and the lottery work for people in Virginia, which operators are licensed in the state and which are not, and what their offers and terms say. Bet-VA is not a sportsbook or a casino. It does not accept wagers, open player accounts, hold deposits or pay winnings, and it holds no gambling licence because it does not offer gambling. Any licence mentioned on a page belongs to the operator that holds it.

Age and the law where you are

The betting and gambling content of the site is meant for adults aged 21 or over. If you are younger, please do not use it. Being able to read about a product here does not mean you may use it: whether a sportsbook, a casino game or a fantasy contest is legal for you depends on the law of the place where you are physically located when you play, and on the operator's own rules. Trademarks of sportsbooks, casinos, leagues and teams belong to their owners and appear only so that readers can tell who is being described.

Use of the site

You agree not to misuse the site: no automated harvesting that puts load on the server, no attempts to get into areas that are not public, no generating artificial clicks on operator links and no uploading of harmful code through any form. We may restrict or block access from addresses that do these things.

Limits of our liability

We work to keep the guide correct, but we cannot promise that every page is complete, current or free from error at the moment you read it, and the site may sometimes be unavailable.
